Leadership Workshops, Training & Coaching to help dads show up at their best

Overcome Mistakes ● Crush Your Excuses ● Break the Cycle

Dad, I know you struggle to manage it all....

Whether it’s balancing your time and energy, connecting with your wife and kids more, or overcoming the constant feeling that you’ve let someone down – you just can’t shake the feeling that you’re not doing enough.

  • You're tired

  • You're overwhelmed

  • You feel alone

  • You feel like you're failing as a dad

But it doesn't have to be this way. You can be a great dad and feel connected to the most important people in your life.

"If you are facing connecting challenges, you can overcome them with connecting choices."

John C. Maxwell

I'm here for you.

I created Connected Dads because I believe involved and healthy dads create great families.  I also know the challenges being a dad presents, the pain it can cause, and the resulting guilt you feel. I know because I've been where you are now. But I also know nothing is better than feeling connected to the people who matter most.

By bringing dads together and growing their leadership capacity I've learned what helps men thrive in their roles at home, and in the rest of their lives.

Connected Dads is here to strengthen and support you on the journey (but also call you on your bullsh@* if needed). Based on the proven leadership systems of John C. Maxwell (#1 New York Times bestselling author, most influential leadership expert in the world by Business Insider and Inc. Magazine) my coaching and accelerator groups immediately give you the tools needed to lead yourself and your family.

Are you ready to overcome mistakes, crush your excuses and break the negative cycle of your past?  Schedule a call or register for an Accelerator Group today to stop struggling and start connecting.

WHAT DADS ARE SAYING

To be able to share and relate with other men who are striving to be their best but challenged to keep all the balls in the air was relieving. And the accountability that is naturally worked into each session is hugely important. Connected Dads has changed my life (and continues to do so) in many tangible ways - just ask my beautiful wife and two daughters.

Are you showing up at your best for the people who matter most?

Depending on where you landed on this scale, chances are you could improve.  In fact, when you look at the statistics, there is a direct correlation between the level of a dad’s involvement and the health of their kids. Research clearly proves that an engaged dad directly impacts the developmental, psychological, and sociological outcomes for children

The evidence is compelling:

  • Involved dads improve their children’s overall emotional and social well-being

  • Involved dads reduce mom’s parenting stress

  • Children living without their father in the home are 47% more likely to live in poverty

  • Men with absent fathers are more likely to become absent fathers themselves

  • Women with absent fathers are more likely to have children with absent fathers

  • Boys have fewer behavioural problems and girls have fewer psychological problems when they have involved dads

What would it be like if we had more engaged and involved dads?  What would it mean for your wife and kids if you were showing up better for them?

Chances are you know most of this already.  The challenge might be that if you’re a dad, you just don’t know how to get there. And if you’re a mom, you don’t know how to help him get there. If that’s the case, Connected Dads is here to help.

What does it mean to be a Connected Dad?

Through the every day struggles and relentless demands, Connected Dads find a way to invest in their most important relationships. They also lead themselves first, and set the example for their family by fully embracing three pillars: Fatherhood, Faith & Fitness.

The challenge is great, the rewards even greater. Most of us recognize we fall short every day.

What separates the connected from the disengaged is simply the willingness to get up each day and try again.

Remember, you are not your mistake. Burn the ships, and leave the past behind.

From today forward you can choose to become connected, and reap the rewards for your family and life.

"When you make a commitment, you create hope. When you keep a commitment, you create trust.”

John C. Maxwell

Fatherhood

When a dad has clarity in five areas of his fatherhood, he begins to live and act with conviction.  Dads, connect with yourself first to reap the most benefits for your family. Do you know your:

  1. Purpose -  role as a man/father and the vision you have for your life and family?

  2. People - who is most important in your life and how you add value to them?

  3. Personality - what are your strengths, weaknesses, character and values?

  4. Passion -  what lights you up and leaves you fulfilled every day?

  5. Priorities - what you commit time and energy to on a daily basis?

Faith

When a dad is grounded by faith he is a refuge for his family when the unpredictability of life hits.  He also learns perspective and forgiveness which allow him to let go of the past and show up at his best for those who need him most.  Do you know where you find:

  1. Peace - What gives you peace in every circumstance and clarity for today’s decisions?

  2. Hope - What gives you hope for the future and courage to overcome your past?

  3. Strength - Where you find strength in the face of adversity?

  4. Fulfillment - Where your soul and spirit are nourished?

Fit Man
Fitness

When a dad chooses to exercise discipline in his life he is leading by example. By taking action every day he improves his mood and his health. He also reduces stress, mitigates risk, and builds momentum.  How is your:

  1. Physical Fitness?

  2. Mental & Emotional Fitness?

  3. Financial Fitness?

  4. Spiritual Fitness?

"Motivation will get you going, but discipline keeps you growing.”

John C. Maxwell
